03 / Safety research
ResearchCare begins with understanding.
Safety-related work is research. It asks whether movement pattern, floor-level context and uncertainty can contribute to respectful response-check workflows.

03.1 / Possible fall-event workflow
A signal may begin a question. It cannot settle one.
A possible rapid height transition followed by prolonged floor-level presence could contribute to a cautious response-check workflow.
- Observe a movement pattern
- Assess room and floor-level context
- Preserve confidence and uncertainty
- Begin a response-check concept
- Prepare a caregiver-notification concept
03.2 / Subtle movement
Breathing-related motion remains an open research question.
Very small radar-reflection changes may contain useful motion information under suitable conditions, but the environment and other movement can materially affect the signal.
Wellness insight requires more than signal sensitivity.
Placement, distance, orientation, bedding, other occupants, pets, fans and environmental movement can all affect subtle returns. Interpretation and communication need validation as much as the sensing itself.
03.3 / Care philosophy
Respect comes before escalation.
A responsible care workflow must preserve dignity, consent, uncertainty and the difference between observation and diagnosis.
